Intelli Sense is a general term for a variety of code editing features including: code completion, parameter info, quick info, and member lists.Intelli Sense features are sometimes called by other names such as "code completion", "content assist", and "code hinting." VS Code Intelli Sense is provided for Java Script, Type Script, JSON, HTML, CSS, Less, and Sass out of the box.Default C/C Intellisense in extremely large solutions, especially with older IDEs, may slow an IDE such that its performance while editing is unacceptable. If this appears to be the case for your environment, disable default IDE Intellisense in C/C and show only Intellisense from Visual Assist, or pause default IDE parsing when Visual Assist parses. It has the added benefit of fixing most of the multi-core build issues. This hotfix also includes the ability to control Intellisense via Macros. As for making SP1 more friendly for existing code, you might also check out this hotfix for template compilation: Rename "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\VC\vcpackages\feacp.dll" to something else (like "feacp.bak") to disable Intellisense. When it works, it's great, but more often than not it will cause more problems than it's worth.
I am having trouble with my Visual Studio 2005 Intelli Sense for some time now.Note: disabling of IDE Intellisense may disable the IDE Class View, render inoperable Add Class Wizard, and disable other IDE features that rely on default Intellisense.Disabling or pausing of IDE Intellisense varies by IDE. Delete NCB existing NCB file(s), and create two, read-only, zero-length NCB files in the base directory of your solution, and one in the %TEMP% directory. Re-enable default Intellisense by deleting the NCB file in the solution base directory.Click on an extension tile below to read the description and reviews to decide which extension is best for you.
VS Code Intelli Sense features are powered by a language service. It used to work fine, but for some reason the 'Updating Intelli Sense...' does no longer seem to be able to complete for the solution I'm working on currenly- it simply gets stuck somewhere at about 3-bars of progress and blocks one of my precious CPUs for eternity.
